QUR’ANIC SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE · MELBOURNE

Ruqyah in Melbourne

Ruqyah is offered through Qur’anic recitation and authentic supplications as a form of spiritual guidance, with the understanding that healing comes from Allah alone. The approach is grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah, avoids superstition and harmful practices, and encourages clients to seek appropriate medical or psychological care when needed.

A verse for the path

“We send down the Qur’an as a healing and mercy for the believers, but it only increases the wrongdoers in loss.”

Qur’an 17:82

Authentic Ruqyah, Free of Superstition

Ruqyah has an unfortunate reputation in some circles, and often for good reason. People have been charged large sums, frightened with talk of jinn and sihr, told to buy strange items, or discouraged from seeing a doctor. None of that comes from the Qur’an or the Sunnah.

What we offer is straightforward: recitation of the Qur’an and the supplications the Prophet ﷺ actually taught. No talismans. No numerology. No claims to know the unseen. No guaranteed outcomes.

Healing comes from Allah alone. We recite, we make du’a, and we leave the result where it belongs.

What Ruqyah Involves

When People Seek Ruqyah

People come for many reasons: persistent distress, disturbed sleep, a sense of spiritual heaviness, difficulty in worship, ongoing hardship in the family, or simply wanting Qur’anic recitation and du’a at a difficult time.

We will not diagnose you. We will not tell you that you are afflicted by sihr or possessed, and we encourage caution towards anyone who makes such claims quickly or confidently.

Ruqyah and Medical Care

This matters enough to state plainly: ruqyah is not a replacement for medical or psychological treatment.

Physical symptoms need a doctor. Depression, anxiety, psychosis and trauma need qualified mental health care. Seeking treatment is not a lack of tawakkul. The Prophet ﷺ instructed his companions to seek treatment, and taking the means is part of relying on Allah, not opposed to it.

If your circumstances point towards medical or psychological care, we will tell you honestly and encourage you to pursue it. Ruqyah can sit alongside that treatment. It should never take its place.

Ruqyah FAQs

Yes, when performed according to the Qur’an and Sunnah. Ruqyah using the Qur’an and authentic supplications is an established practice. Ruqyah involving talismans, unknown incantations, claims of knowledge of the unseen, or seeking help from other than Allah is not permissible.

Healing comes from Allah alone. Ruqyah is a means of seeking that healing, not a guarantee. Nobody who says they can guarantee a cure is being truthful with you.

Yes, and it is encouraged. Part of what we do is teach you the verses and supplications so you can recite over yourself and your family regularly.

No. Never stop prescribed medication or treatment because of ruqyah. Speak to your doctor about any changes to your treatment.

That varies, and anyone who gives you a fixed number in advance is guessing. Many people find that one session, together with their own daily recitation, is enough.

Yes, with a parent or guardian present throughout.
